On May 11, 2017, Substance Abuse Services for Clayton County, Inc. and the 5C Coalition partnered with Iowa State University Extension and Outreach and a number of other agencies to provide education to 214 4th grade students from MFL Mar Mac, Ed-Co, Postville and Clayton Ridge Schools.  Adam Sadewasser from SASCC shared information regarding the harmful effects of tobacco use to the body and the various ways tobacco companies try to market their products to youth.  Rachael Hach from SASCC and Marv Duff from 5C provided facts about how alcohol use can affect different areas of the body. Students from each school signed a pledge to be alcohol-free and the signed posters were sent back to the individual schools.
